Frequently asked questions

I try to install Hemisfer but get a warning that the source of the software is not certified. Should I care?
A certificate authenticating a software is expansive and needs to be renewed regularly. Having such a certificate is thus not possible for a true freeware.

I set the resolution of my pictures at 600 dpi (dots per inch), but the calculations are always done as if it would be 72 dpi. Why?
You probably checked the option "use resolution from picture file" and the resolution registered within the picture file is 72 dpi. Resolutions saved within picture files are not always correct, especially if such files have been edited by different software products before loading them in Pixstat. In such a case, simply uncheck the option and enter the correct value in Pixstat.
