The main menu of Hemisfer shows the following sub-menus:
| File | Loading the files to be analysed, saving parameters, running analyses, viewing results, exiting the software. |
| View | View the picture in its original colours, in grey tones or in black and white. |
| Options | Different options affecting the way the leaf area index and other calculations are done. Also: choice of the language in which the software is displayed. |
